Accounting Today’s Top Firms by AUM ranks Wipfli fifth in total assets under management (2010 and 2011)
In a survey of CPA firms offering financial planning and investment advisory services, Wipfli LLP ranked fifth nationwide in total assets under management. The survey was conducted by Top Firms by AUM, a supplement to the industry magazine, Accounting Today, and was based on information collected from 186 participating CPA firms.
Accounting Today’s VAR 100 List (2010 and 2011)
Accounting Today conducted a survey of professional services firms and ERP software resellers, and ranked Wipfli among the top ten of value added resellers in the nation. The list included 100 firms, among which Wipfli ranked #9. The firm was the only Wisconsin-based firm in the top 10 resellers on the list. This is the second consecutive year that Wipfli has been named to the list.
Minneapolis/St. Paul Best Places to Work (2010 and 2011) —Conducted by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal
Wipfli was selected as one of the Best Places to Work in 2010 and in 2011 by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s editors and staff. We are a winner in the 100 to 1,000 employee company category (medium-sized companies), based on meeting the required 75-percent participation rate and for attaining a high overall score on the survey results, completed by our associates. The surveys were screened to select the winners from companies in different size categories.
Technology Pacesetter List (2010 and 2011) – Conducted by Accounting Today
In a survey conducted by Accounting Today of professional services firms offering technology services, Wipfli LLP ranked among the top-flight technology service providers in the nation. In 2011, the list included 50 firms, among which Wipfli ranked #2 based on the number of consultants serving clients in the technology area. The firm was the only Wisconsin-based firm on the list and the top firm among the six firms based in the Midwest.
Top 100 Workplaces in Minneapolis/St. Paul (2010 and 2011) —Conducted by the Star Tribune
Wipfli was named one of the Top Workplaces in the Twin Cities metro area based on an employee-based survey from the Star Tribune. Produced by the same independent survey company that compiles the 19-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in the metro area based on employee responses related to company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation, and benefits.
Milwaukee Best Places to Work (2009 and 2010) —Conducted by the Milwaukee Business Journal
Wipfli LLP received a Top Milwaukee Workplace award from the Milwaukee Business Journal in both 2009 and 2010. Wipfli was named a winner based on meeting the required participation rate for the Milwaukee-area employment base and for attaining a high overall survey score.
Best Accounting Firms to Work For (2008) —Conducted by Accounting Today
Wipfli LLP was named one of the “Best Accounting Firms to Work For” in 2008 by Accounting Today. The “Best Accounting Firms to Work For” survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in the accounting profession.
