Our team is really looking forward to attending Convergence 2010 - Microsoft's Dynamics Customer Conference - Saturday April 24 through Tuesday April 27 in Atlanta! (And I'm also looking forward to the reaction of grammar experts everywhere to the fantastic use of the English language employed in the headline/title of this post...)
At the start of Convergence tomorrow afternoon we will be immersed in CRM User Group (CRMUG) sessions, which - combined with the Interactive Discussion sessions to be moderated by the CRMUG throughout the conference - should be extremely valuable. These sessions tend to drive out some great anecdotes, best practices and real life user scenarios that are truly invaluable. And yes, Convergence has shifted to a Saturday afternoon start vs. what we believe had become a traditional Monday morning/afternoon start, depending on your relationship with Microsoft.
The Keynote and Product Breakout Sessions Sunday are sure to bring some special announcements. I know our team is looking forward to any potential announcements regarding - and clarifications of - the Dynamics CRM product roadmap, and the anticipated release of CRM v.Next / CRM 5.0. Opinions range on whether the name will stay with version number, move down the date/year path (CRM 2010?), or be some combination or distant relative of the two.
Wipfli will also be hosting it's annual Client Appreciation Social Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30 - if you are randomly reading this while at Convergence and for some reason have not yet received an invitation, please let me know tomorrow, Sunday or Monday ;).
Jason Foerch - Wipfli's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Team Technical Lead and Solution Architect - and I will be attending this year - as will team members from our GP and AX Teams, so please feel free to reach out to us during or following the Conference with questions, recommendations, etc. via blog comments, emails via our profiles on wipfli.com, or any other form of social media.
Thanks, and we look forward to a great Convergence and some great content and interaction.
