Every nursing home needs a budget. Unfortunately, in many cases, managers are not given the tools to succeed in budgeting and managing their department’s financial performance. They do not have information regarding reasonable financial results for their department and are not provided with benchmarking information comparing their department’s performance to their peers. In this session, participants will learn new understandable budgeting techniques. After this session, participants will also understand how benchmarking information can be used to make the budget process more relevant and meaningful.
