State and national reform debates tend to focus on financing (insurance) and access (coverage) without much discussion of a patient’s experience as they pursue a desired health outcome (i.e., diagnosis, treatment).  The value and importance of patient/consumer/customer satisfaction seems to often be lost in such debates.
