How prepared would your organization be if tomorrow the Office for Civil Rights initiated a HIPAA privacy and security audit? The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is preparing to implement its formal audit program, sometimes referred to as “Phase II,” and if you have been putting off preparing for the possibility of an audit, now is the time to ensure you’re ready, since any organization can be audited.
