The Patient Protection Affordability Care Act represents substantial changes for the delivery of health care. In response, health care organizations must focus significant effort on enhancing the patient experience. To do so requires social changes within health care organizations and a need to forge new relationships with physicians. This newsletter suggests using social mechanisms for reengaging physicians to meet post-reform health care expectations and help reestablish their roles in the journey toward ultimate patient satisfaction.
