Despite the economic and reimbursement challenges the senior living industry faces, the future of senior services and housing is bright. The growth of the 75-and-over population will dramatically increase over the next 10 years. The Minnesota senior living market continues to evolve in response to demographic trends and the uncertainties arising from health care reform. Although the Supreme Court has spoken, the debate over implementation of the Affordable Care Act will continue. No matter what ultimately comprises “health care reform,” the senior living industry will need to pursue business decisions and actions that position it to respond to these challenges.
In this webinar, we will provide an overview of senior living industry trends and health care reform’s effects on the senior living industry. Learning objectives include:
  • Gaining insight into population trends and projections, as well as future senior housing demands
  • Understanding current trends impacting consumer demand for senior housing and services
  • Increasing knowledge about health care reform and response strategies for senior housing and long-term care operators
