The Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 (the “Act”) was signed by the President on September 27, 2010. The Act provides a number of significant benefits to small and mid-sized businesses. Companies need to start planning now to take full advantage of two of the provisions that have a significant impact on the benefit of the research and development (R&D) tax credit.
