The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) offers insurance on deposits held at FDIC insured banks. On September 26, 2008, the FDIC issued regulations that removed some restrictions from accounts titled as revocable trust accounts. This summary highlights the current rules and limitations.
