Good news! The USDA Rural Development Community Facility Direct Loan Program was allocated $1.3 billion in funding—more than four times previous years’ budgets. So if your rural health care or senior living organization is seeking capital for facility improvements or information technology systems (e.g., electronic medical records), money is available. Even if your project plan is not complete, apply now to reserve funds and lock in the current low interest rate. Applications approved the first quarter of 2012 will receive financing with a maximum interest rate of 3.75% fixed for up to 40 years!
