Wipfli LLP announced today that William Moncrief has joined the firm as a manager in the firm’s health care practice focusing on the financial management of and complex issues facing long-term care facilities. Moncrief will work out of the firm’s Minneapolis office.

“As we continue to expand our health care practice in the Minnesota Region, William is an excellent addition to our team,” stated Bob Parrish, lead partner of the Wipfli’s health care practice. “With his extensive experience serving long-term care facilities across the Midwest, he will be a strong resource to our clients.”

Prior to joining Wipfli LLP, Moncrief worked for a $125 million+ Minnesota nonprofit provider of senior housing services where he served as a financial liaison between reporting agencies, banks, brokerages, and facilities within the organization. In that role, Moncrief facilitated the analysis of acquisitions and development projects, investments, debt issuance, compliance, banking, budgets, and audit-related services.

In addition, Moncrief has led budget training sessions for nursing home administrators and housing managers and has had substantial responsibilities in a series of tax-exempt bond offerings, HUD 202 and 232 transactions, and the due diligence for potential acquisitions.

Moncrief is a member of the MTMA (Minnesota Treasury Management Association), AAHSA (American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging), Aging Services of Minnesota, and IAHSA (International Association of Homes and Services for the Aging). He earned his bachelor of business administration in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is currently completing his master of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
