Medicare and Medicaid Reimbursement specialist Jim Adams joins Wipfli LLP

Milwaukee, Wis. (June 10, 2009) —Wipfli LLP announced today that Jim Adams has joined the firm as a manager in the firm’s health care practice. In this position, Jim will be responsible for providing services related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement to the firm’s clients including Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting services, Medicare organ transplant reimbursement services and Medicaid rate optimization services.

Jim has over 15 years of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement experience working with hospitals and health systems. He has served as a manager of reimbursement for a Chicago area health system for approximately five years and also served a year-long term as interim director for one of Wisconsin’s premier academic medical centers. This hands-on experience has provided him with a strong perspective, which he uses to assist clients with custom Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement strategies. In addition, prior to joining Wipfli, Jim served as a senior consultant for one of the Big Four accounting and consulting firms.
A graduate of the University of South Alabama, Jim earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is a licensed CPA and is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
