Minnesota Hospital Association Honors Wipfli
January 24, 2007
MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 24, 2007) — The Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) recently named Wipfli LLP, a CPA and consulting firm with offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as its 2006 Associate Member of the Year. This award honors a hospital partner who has worked throughout the year to support quality educational opportunities for MHA members. The Associate Member of the Year is also recognized for the added benefits they provide to the overall MHA membership while helping advance the advocacy efforts of the association. (MHA is a trade association representing Minnesota's hospitals and health systems.)
Wipfli is a true partner with MHA," says Bruce Rueben, president of MHA. "Not only do they sponsor an event at every major MHA conference, but its leaders also continually provide us with up-to-date information on topics important to our membership. They also write articles for our Trustee newsletter and volunteer their staff as speakers for anything we need. In short, Wipfli frequently educates our members on issues involving governance, finance, critical access and reimbursement, all of which are critical to hospitals' success."
MHA presented the award to Wipfli during its bi-annual Trustee Conference, held on Jan. 12, 2007, at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Plymouth, Minn. Wipfli's Jeff Johnson and Perry Hanson (both of the firm's Minneapolis office) accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
With more than 700 associates and 16 offices in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Wipfli ranks among the largest accounting and business consulting firms in the nation.
