Wipfli LLP Expands Twin Cities’ Forensic and Litigation Support Practice As Marc Courey Joins the Firm

To continue the expansion of the firm’s business valuation, forensic and litigation support practice, Wipfli is pleased to announce Marc Courey has joined the firm as a Director of Litigation Support, Fraud and Forensic Services. 
 
Drawing on over 25 years of experience in forensic accounting, law, information technology systems and corporate management, Courey’s primary responsibility will be working with businesses requiring reactive forensic investigations, proactive fraud risk mitigation services, litigation support, internal control reviews and litigation readiness planning. He has extensive experience conducting financial forensic investigations and fraud risk assessments, assisting public companies with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements, conducting regulatory compliance engagements and internal investigations.
 
Courey is a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner, certified compliance and ethics professional, certified internal controls auditor and he is certified in financial forensics. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business with an emphasis in management information systems from the University of Minnesota and a juris doctorate and master of laws in taxation from William Mitchell College of Law.
