Rick Taylor receives WICPA’s Distinguished Career Award

Rick Taylor, Partner in charge of our firm’s tax practice, is the recipient of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (WICPA) Distinguished Career Award. He received the award on Friday, May 13, as part of the WICPA’s Member Recognition Banquet and Annual Meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Distinguished Career Award is given to members who have shown leadership, have made significant contributions to the profession and have outstanding records of service to the WICPA and the local community.

Throughout his career, Taylor has been a leader and innovator in all things tax. He continues to advocate for creating tax efficiencies, teaches numerous webinars, writes for publications and is highly sought after as a keynote speaker.

When asked how he felt about receiving this honor, Rick said, “As a CPA with over 30 years in the industry, I feel fortunate to have worked with businesses through many challenges and changes in the marketplace and to have helped them succeed and grow. I am thankful to lead such a strong team of tax professionals at Wipfli LLP, and to be a partner in a firm that has such a deep commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.”

The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education.
