December 1, 2009
Wipfli manager and Wausau resident Amy Libertoski was recently awarded the personal financial specialist (PFS) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The PFS designation is reserved for CPAs who specialize in personal financial planning and is awarded exclusively to professionals who have demonstrated considerable expertise in that area. According to the AICPA’s website, only 3,800 professionals across the country have earned this designation to date.
“The firm congratulates Amy on this accomplishment,” said Ed Koth, partner in charge of Wipfli’s Central Region, which includes the Wausau office. “Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to her profession and to the firm’s clients and this well-deserved designation signifies that commitment.”
Amy is a certified public accountant with over 16 years of experience specializing in individual tax and personal financial services. She helps her clients to clarify their objectives and identify their short- and long-term goals, ensuring that the resulting financial plan is a strategic vehicle to help them to get where they want to go. A certified public accountant, Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
