Kelly Arduino

Director of Financial Advisory Services

Kelly Arduino has over 16 years of experience in health care with an emphasis in health care finance and strategy. As an unbiased financial advisor for clients including critical access hospitals, independent community hospitals, and senior living facilities, her work centers around helping clients secure capital for large renovation/replacement projects. In addition, she works as an “ad hoc” advisor for ongoing needs (e.g., buying vs. leasing equipment).  Kelly also performs credit assessments to determine an organization’s current cost of capital and develops financial ratio targets with corresponding plans for improving the quantitative and qualitative metrics that matter most to investors—resulting in a lower interest rate for borrowing. For this reason, she is not affiliated with any financial institution, and fees for services are not based on the transaction size or specific financing product, assuring objective advice.

As a former health care investment banker, Kelly has completed numerous health care debt transactions, including the first replacement critical access hospital (CAH) in Illinois. She uses her “insider” knowledge to ensure that clients are balancing future operational flexibility with cost of capital and paying market rates to secure that capital. She is knowledgeable about various financing options ranging from public bond offerings to government loan programs (e.g., HUD, USDA) and considers all options for client suitability. Prior to investment banking, Kelly was a health care strategy consultant with Tiber Group (d/b/a Navigant Consulting), and her work on service-line planning, joint ventures options, and physician needs assessment ensures a strong link between strategic and financing planning.
