Mike Bell has been in public practice for more than 30 years, focusing exclusively on the healthcare industry by providing a full range of accounting, auditing, reimbursement, and financial consulting services.  Prior to public accounting, Mike worked on the clinical side for four years while serving on active duty.  Mike has worked with healthcare organizations throughout the country including hospitals, critical access hospitals, physician clinics, rural health clinics, federally qualified health clinics, home health agencies, nursing homes, and other organizations.  Mike is constantly monitoring state and federal legislation and regulatory changes in an effort to keep clients informed of opportunities to increase reimbursement or strategies to avoid payment reductions. 

Mike presents numerous educational programs for HFMA, state hospital associations, groups of hospitals, and other associations annually.

Professional Organizations and Activities

Mike is the co-founder of the Rural Health Clinic Association of Washington, served as the treasurer of the Washington Rural Health Association for six years, served on the Washington Academy of Family Physicians Foundation Board, and on the National Rural Health Association advisory board.  Mike is also actively involved with several HFMA chapters.
