David Bue is a senior manager in Wipfli LLP’s Financial Institutions Practice. He brings a multitude of successful financial leadership experience to Wipfli and our clients. David has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, and he leverages his experience to provide effective, common sense advice that helps clients achieve their desired goals. David has a proven track record of developing winning teams through exceptional levels of team member engagement and effective strategic planning. He also brings a wide range of experience in business development and customer service to our clients. His extensive business leadership experience helps clients identify profit improvement and organizational efficiency opportunities. Prior to joining Wipfli, David served as the District President and CEO of the northern Minnesota region for a large national financial institution. He was responsible for a highly successful banking group consisting of nine markets, over 300 employees, and $1 billion in assets. David also served as a financial institution president in Winona, Minnesota, and as a business banking manager in Owatonna, Minnesota. In addition, David worked as a safety and soundness examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
