JoAnn Cotter is a partner in the financial institution services division sector within Wipfli LLP. Since joining the firm in 1984, JoAnn has established Wipfli as an industry leader in services provided to clients in the financial services industry.

JoAnn's development of an industry-specific specialty practice gives Wipfli clients the competitive advantage. The scope and depth of Wipfli’s practice in financial institutions prove to clients again and again, Wipfli knows their industry.

JoAnn uses her speaking and training skills in a variety of topics. She has made presentations on a full range of issues from implementation of new accounting standards to training workshops for trade associations. JoAnn has also authored articles for industry newsletters and was a source for a training manual on executive compensation for CUNA.

She spends her free time watching her kids in their many sporting endeavors, traveling, walking, swimming, golf and just doing stuff with family and friends.

Professional Organizations and Activities
JoAnn is very involved in professional and civic organizations and has held several leadership positions as well as playing a vital role in fund-raising and capital campaign efforts. She is also past president of Management Women and is a member of the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
