Ken Demerath’s area of expertise is in financial institutions and service organizations, including SEC registrants. He has assisted many clients in conversions to public entities and in mergers and acquisitions. Ken incorporates his extensive knowledge of policies and procedures he has acquired while working with larger SEC clients into the assistance he provides non-SEC clients.

Ken leads the firm’s third-party examination practice and has assisted in operational reviews for a wide variety of industries, including financial institutions, benefit plan administrators, radio stations, nonprofit organizations, and accounting management organizations.  He utilizes the operational reviews of a variety of entities in his ongoing client assistance with his more traditional clients.

Ken utilizes over 20 years of experience to provide state-of-the-art services to Wipfli LLP clients.  Initiative, astute analysis, maximum effort, steady leadership, and unwavering commitment are the hallmarks of his professional practice.

Professional Organizations and Activities
Ken is actively involved in the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Winnebagoland Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  Ken is a Desert Storm Veteran and past Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Reserves.
