With over 25 years of banking experience and an in-depth focus on internal audit and compliance, Maureen has developed an extensive base of knowledge and provides expert consultation services on issues relevant to financial institutions. Maureen’s background includes substantial experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring internal audit and compliance functions in both community bank and large financial institution settings. This experience has allowed her to develop strong advisory, training, analysis, and operational skills which she puts to use in serving the needs of her clients.
Prior to joining Wipfli, Maureen was vice president in charge of internal audit and compliance for a bank holding company with over $350 million in assets.
Professional Organizations and Activities
Maureen is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager. She is a regular volunteer in many areas of her community and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Hudson Lions Club. Maureen is also a frequent presenter at financial institution functions on topics related to internal audit and compliance and is the 2006 Director of the Wisconsin Bankers Association Internal Audit School.
