Valerie K. Fedie

R&D Tax Senior Manager

Valerie Fedie, an R&D tax senior manager in the Eau Claire office, is experienced in working with a variety of clients to provide R&D tax consulting services to maximize R&D tax credits. With her deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities her clients face with new product and/or process improvements, Valerie’s extensive experience includes planning, supervising, and executing research and development tax incentive projects.

Prior to joining Wipfli LLP, for the past nine years, Valerie worked for a Big Four accounting firm in Minneapolis and was a member of its National Research & Development Tax Services Group. Through her work experiences, she has developed extensive expertise in tax consulting issues related to the research and development tax credit and provided support for IRS audits. Valerie’s industry experience includes manufacturing, retail, automotive, software, pharmaceutical, engineering services, and utilities. 

Valerie is an active participant in the Junior League of Eau Claire and the Parent Advocacy Committee at Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center. She is also involved in a number of community and charity endeavors.
