Doug Fitzgerald is the partner in charge of the Sterling office and is a partner in the financial institutions industry at Wipfli. He specializes in providing consulting, tax and attest services for community banks. He also provides tax services to closely held businesses and individuals.

Doug has been a partner for nearly 30 years principally overseeing the growth of the financial institution practice. He has also been instrumental in the formation of the Community Bank Association Network (CBAN), an organization of 20 CPA firms that collaborates on providing services to the Community Bankers in America. Doug has presented many times for PKF, CBAI and local organizations on a variety of topics and is occasionally published in the Community Bankers of Illinois magazine.

Professional Organizations and Activities
His professional affiliations include membership in the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society, and he is a member of CBAN, the Community Bankers Association Network. He is also a member of PKF North America’s Financial Institutions Committee.
