Kurt’s main industry focus is closely held businesses within the manufacturing, distribution, and retail industries, ranging in size from $5 million to $500 million in sales annually.
With a strong focus on closely held businesses in the manufacturing, distribution and retail industries, Kurt provides audit, tax, and business consulting services to his clients. Kurt’s industry-specific knowledge and experience provide him the unique ability to discover and understand critical issues, accurately evaluate problems, and develop unique, sound business solutions. In addition, Kurt’s clients know they can rely on him to advise them in a variety of areas including lean accounting, risk management, and operational improvement.
Kurt has worked with a number of international clients, which has given him real-world experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and has made him a firm resource related to international issues and IFRS compliance questions.

Kurt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Institute of Management Accountants. He is involved in several professional and community activities including serving as president of the board of directors for Golden House in Green Bay.
