Robert B. Kaczmarek

Practice Leader, Cost Segregation Services

Robert Kaczmarek serves as the leader of the Construction Cost Segregation Practice for Wipfli LLP.  He has over 30 years of experience in appraisals and valuations and has performed over 6,000 studies for fair market value, cost segregation, allocation of purchase price, property valuation, insurance valuation, and fixed asset record development.

Bob has provided services to various industries, including:  commercial real estate, lodging, retail, light and heavy industry, steel fabrication, food processing, computer chip manufacturing, mining, refining, auto manufacturing, paper making, cities, towns, municipal services, health care, religious institutions, colleges, residential, and recreational.

Previously, Bob served as director of the Cost Segregation Practice of a regional accounting firm and was the manager of the Western Region and national Construction Cost Segregation Practice of a major international accounting firm.  He began his career as an appraiser for an international appraisal firm.

Bob has been the featured speaker on cost segregation practices for industry groups, tax organizations, and state and national CPA societies including the AICPA National Real Estate Conference.  In addition, he served as past editor of the Journal of Technical Valuation and authored numerous articles for it, the Journal of Property Taxation and several trade publications in the food industry.
