Jessica Mac Naughton understands tax laws, and her clients rely on her to apply them to their situation and to their advantage. She provides a spectrum of tax-related services to financial institutions, manufacturing and distribution facilities, and individuals. Jessica assists with IRS and Wisconsin Department of Revenue franchise and sales and use tax audits. Jessica’s expertise also includes consolidated and multistate tax returns.

Jessica spent the first few years of her career with Wipfli auditing clients. This experience provided a better understanding of her clients’ financial statements and business operations. Now a member of Wipfli’s tax department, Jessica’s audit background helps her apply tax laws to the benefit of her clients. By translating complicated tax legislation into understandable language, she helps businesses make the tax laws work for them—providing long-term dividends.

Jessica shares her expertise with students aspiring to have a career in accounting and those looking to run a small business some day. She works with accounting students enrolled at UW-Madison on various tax research projects. She has also facilitated tax law update discussions with her clients’ customers.

Professional Organizations and Activities
Jessica is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Also, prior to its dissolution, she was a member of Executive Women’s International’s chapter in Madison.
