Maile Pa’alani’s goal is to help nonprofit organizations increase the efficiency of their operations by seeing the big picture, then focusing on the details.  “So many organizations get bogged down in activities that need to be done on a daily basis and in the steps that are needed for improvement.  I aim to help them focus first on where they want to go, then figure out the steps to get there,” she says. 

Maile brings a unique mixture of auditing and accounting experience, as well as information technology skills.  Since joining Wipfli in June 2000, Maile has worked with nonprofit clients to properly and efficiently install and use Sage MIP Fund Accounting software and with audits and process optimization.

Maile helps MIP clients prepare for audits through a series of customized reports known as the “Audit Binder.”  These reports make audits easier for both client and auditor.
