Daryl Ohland

Senior Manager

Daryl Ohland provides state and local tax consulting, and has over 23 years of public accounting experience and five years of experience as an auditor with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.  His state and local tax consulting experience includes representing clients before the Wisconsin Department of Revenue on such issues as sales and use taxes, private letter rulings, personal and real property taxes, nexus, and apportionment.  Daryl has a proven track record of successfully representing middle-market and Fortune 500 clients alike in audits by various departments of revenue.

He has developed and implemented many Wisconsin-specific tax planning strategies to reduce sales and use taxes for his clients.  He has also performed numerous reviews of clients’ state tax control systems and reporting status to identify and eliminate areas of exposure through voluntary disclosure projects.

Professional Organizations and Activities
Daryl is a taxation commitee member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  He has received Certified in Integrated Resource Management certification from the American Production and Inventory Control Society.  Daryl has been a featured speaker at the National Business Institute, Lorman Education Services, Tax Executives Institute, Financial Executives Institute, PESI, and WICPA events.
