Bonnie Braun Padilla serves as leader of tax services for the Minnesota Region of Wipfli LLP. She has over 20 years of experience working with real estate and high net worth tax clients.  Bonnie began her career in the real estate industry with a Big Four firm in San Diego. 

Bonnie focuses her concentration on understanding the complex compliance issues that her clients face, as well as consulting on cost segregation and deferred exchanges.  She is also involved with multi-entity and intrafamily issues as well as assisting with the planning for businesses and their owners. Utilizing her extensive real estate experience, Bonnie provides state-of-the-art services to all forms of business from small family held businesses to large million dollar organizations.  Initiative, astute analysis, maximum effort, steady leadership, and unwavering commitment are the hallmarks of her professional practice.  She considers communication and a proactive approach as the foundations of her service.

Recently, Bonnie was honored as one of the “Top Women in Finance” by Finance & Commerce magazine for her significant contributions in the financial services area.  In 2005, she was named one of the top 100 most influential practitioners by The National Public Accountant magazine. 

Bonnie is licensed in California as well as Minnesota.

Professional Organizations and Activities

Bonnie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA), Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).  She is involved in many local and educational organizations and works on strategic planning with local school districts.  Bonnie is also on the executive board of the Breast Cancer Awareness Association.
