Neal Richardson, CPA/ABV, CFF

Partner in Charge, Northern Illinois Region

Neal Richardson is a partner in Wipfli’s Rockford office where he leads the valuation and litigation support practice for the Northern Illinois region. Neal also assists closely held companies and individuals manage their tax planning and compliance needs. 

Neal, Partner in Charge of Wipfli’s Northern Illinois Region, has over fifteen years of experience in valuation and litigation support and routinely provides services for both plaintiffs and defendants. His services have included trial testimony, depositions, affidavits, analysis, and prepared reports. Neal has obtained his credentials as Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) from the AICPA.

Prior to joining Wipfli, Neal started his career with a large Northern Illinois CPA firm in 1982. Neal spent the last four years with this firm as President/CEO prior to the firm merging with Wipfli in 2010.

Professional Organizations and Activities

Neal is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society. He currently sits on the board of the Freeport Health Network and has been involved in a number of community and civic endeavors.
