Rob Schlicht serves as a consultant for our long-term care clients’ reimbursement needs. His reimbursement experience, analytical abilities, creative thinking, and desire to provide services over and above expectations enable him to help clients solve their reimbursement and operational issues. Long-term care providers can expect their services to be delivered in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner, tailored to their individual, unique needs. Rob’s attentive monitoring of system changes will keep his clients on the forefront of the constantly evolving reimbursement environment.

Prior to joining Wipfli LLP, Rob obtained 13 years of work experience in the reimbursement department of a national nursing home chain. In that role, he gained knowledge of five different state Medicaid programs, as well as extensive knowledge of the Medicare program. He reviewed and/or prepared numerous Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, coordinating the audit, settlement, and appeals processes for many of them. He has trained nursing home staff directly on reimbursement strategies and has provided dialogue on reimbursement system changes and how they affect individual providers.
