John Schwab, the partner in charge of Wipfli LLP’s Construction and Real Estate Practice, has over 22 years of experience dedicated to providing his clients with straightforward, honest, thorough, and expert information upon which they can rely.

John serves a full range of construction and real estate organizations with operations ranging from small specialty subcontractors to national real estate organizations.

John possesses strong analytical and long-range planning abilities, as well as the keen ability to build strong lasting relationships.  He is extraordinarily adept at readily comprehending clients’ unique needs and identifying creative, yet practical, solutions.

John and his wife recently built a vacation home on Lake Superior. Their oldest son is an Eagle Scout and attends the University of Wisconsin Madison. Their youngest son is 13 years old and enjoyes football and basketball. The Schwab's enjoy traveling to exotic places to scuba dive. In his spare time, John works as a professional divemaster and teaches scuba diving classes.

Professional Organizations and Activities
Deeply involved in professional and civic groups, John is a member of NAIOP Trends in Real Estate Development National Forum, ICSC, and the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He extends his leadership skills into several community organizations serving as a Boy Scout Troop Committee Chair and is board president-elect of the BSA Potawatomi Area Council and the Reggie White National Sleep Disorder Research and Education Foundation, Inc.  John is also active in the Southwest Milwaukee YMCA and Hales Corners Lutheran Church.
