AboutWipfli

Andrew Sigl

CPA, Partner

Andy Sigl devotes 100 percent of his time to consulting with clients on issues related to profit improvement, asset/liability management, strategic planning, and acquisitions of branches and charters.  He provides clients with a different perspective on their business issues and is well known for his ability to evaluate financial performance in a unique and communicative manner.

Andy has over 30 years of experience working for and consulting with financial institutions.  He leverages this experience to provide effective, common sense advice that helps his clients achieve their desired goals.  Clients find Andy’s guidance and approach very beneficial, as evidenced by this short e-mail from a client to Andy and to other Wipfli advisors assisting Andy:  “I appreciate all the help you have given us to become the bank we are today.  Just think what the next four years can bring. Thank you. P.S. Decimal dust pays.”

As the leader of Wipfli’s Twin Cities Financial Institutions Practice, Andy works in our St. Paul office and takes the lead in coaching and mentoring the local financial institutions team. In this role, he emphasizes meeting client needs, exceeding their expectations, being responsive, and having fun in the process.

Professional Organizations and Activities
Andy is a member of the American, Minnesota, and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a frequent speaker at financial institution conferences and consistently receives very high ratings on presentation skills and subject knowledge.  In the past, he has also been an instructor at consumer loan and operations mini-schools.
