Dar Vanden Boogart

Director of Risk Management Services

Dar Vanden Boogart leads Wipfli LLP's Financial Institutions Internal Audit practice and oversees the development and delivery of risk-management services to financial institutions. With over 25 years of financial institutions experience, Dar has developed an extensive knowledge base to assist financial institutions with risk-management programs to address existing and emerging issues facing the industry.

Dar has focused on internal audit and risk-management techniques since 1986. This extensive experience has allowed her to develop strong advisory skills and provide risk-based, solution-oriented consulting to a wide variety of clients.

Prior to joining Wipfli, Dar was vice president of audit for a $2 billion financial institution with over 20 affiliated companies. In this position, Dar was responsible for internal audit program design and planning for all affiliates and for the professional development and training of team members.

Dar is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and is a certified bank auditor and a certified financial services auditor.
