The Challenge
Women’s Specialty Care is a medical practice that specializes in complete women’s health. The practice was brand new with only one doctor initially managing it. It grew to three doctors and over 17 staff members which drew concerns on how payroll procedures would be performed on a timely basis without penalties.
The Strategy
Wipfli initially met with the client to determine its needs and designed a system setup and process based off its wants.
- Ensured payroll was processed correctly and on time, including transfer of 401(k) to the retirement department
- Kept employees informed of their 401(k) match at every payroll
- Ensured taxes were being paid
- Ensured tax forms were being processed
- Ensured government reporting was done at the end of the year
