Lauren C. Capitini, Attorney, Boardman Clark
Lauren has extensive experience helping financial institutions navigate the morass of regulatory compliance. Specifically, her work with financial institutions has entailed compliance reviews addressing lending and deposit contracts and disclosures, advertising, discrimination and fair lending issues, electronic banking, and telephone/text message communications with customers. Lauren also helps financial institutions navigate complex fraud issues including wire, check, and ACH fraud and assists financial institutions in their handling of sensitive compliance issues with regulators. Prior to joining the firm, Lauren practiced at CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, Wisconsin, and the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) in Washington, D.C.
Patrick P. Neuman, Attorney, Boardman Clark
Patrick’s practice focuses on banking and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, commercial lending, and contract negotiation. He assists banks and bank holding companies with mergers, stock acquisitions, asset sales and branch acquisitions, subchapter s conversions, holding company and subsidiary formations, corporate governance, vendor contract negotiations and regulatory and compliance matters. Patrick has negotiated on behalf of Wisconsin banks on various regulatory issues with the FDIC, HUD and Federal Reserve. He frequently speaks and writes about legal issues affecting community banks. Patrick also represents lenders in various types of commercial loan transactions, including bank stock loans, loan participations, commercial real estate loans and commercial and industrial financing.

As the leader of Wipfli LLP’s financial services practice, Mike Vesel is responsible for the overall financial results, strategic direction, and development of services within the practice, as well as partner and associate development. Mike spends all of his time working with financial institutions. He also oversees Wipfli’s financial institutions trust practice. Mike has extensive knowledge in several financial institution-related industry areas and previously was in charge of the audit and accounting group of Wipfli’s financial institutions practice.
