Nonprofit organizations have a large number of fiscal requirements that add to the everyday workload. Instead of merely keeping up and meeting last-minute deadlines, there may be a way to get ahead of the fiscal process, gain control of the workload, and still maintain effective internal controls. Join us for an introduction to a general process for assessing the organization's fiscal processes and developing steps and solutions to improve efficiency while incorporating internal controls. This session will show how to determine the current process and evaluate whether improvements could be implemented.
- Introduce a process for improvement and process design.
- Explore how to identify waste in fiscal processes.
- Review tools for process analysis.
