The awards were presented this month at the General Opening Session and Awards Ceremony during IHCA’s 65th Annual Convention & Expo in Peoria, Illinois.
“Wipfli is thrilled to receive this award from the Illinois Health Care Association,” said Steve Thompson, partner-in-charge of Wipfli’s health care industry practice. “This honor speaks to the firm’s strong expertise in the long-term care industry and our commitment to helping senior living facilities to overcome challenges and succeed in an ever-changing industry.”
Wipfli has a health care focus that is led by a team of industry experts, including over 100 associates dedicated to serving more than 1,800 clients in 46 states. These clients include long-term care facilities, community hospitals, critical access and rural hospitals and physician practices. Their team of CPAs, licensed long-term care administrators, RNs, market analysts and billing specialists has deep profession expertise to provide a comprehensive solution for their clients. These professionals use an outside perspective coupled with insider knowledge to develop practical solutions that deliver sustainable results.

As an active member of the Illinois Health Care Association, Wipfli’s team of health care professionals makes education and the sharing of knowledge a top priority. “Our profession is all about CARE—Compassion, Attitude, Respect and Excellence” said IHCA President John Vrba. “This year’s staff and volunteer award winners have shown that they have what it takes to truly make a difference in the lives of the residents they serve and they deserve to be congratulated for their efforts.”

“Illinois Health Care Association is proud to honor all of the award winners – they are the best of the best in our association,” added Executive Director David Voepel. “We hold these dedicated professionals in the highest regard and their recognition gives others in our association someone to aspire to be. We applaud their service to long term care and thank them for a job well done!”
