Wipfli, a top 20 U.S. accounting firm and leading provider of audit, tax, consulting, and financial technology services for mid-market firms, has announced that Shereen Mahoney, Wipfli partner and leader of the firm’s office in Reston, Virginia, has been named to DCA Live’s "Trending 40 - The New Power Women of Tech" list.
DCA Live’s "Trending 40 - The New Power Women of Tech" list is an annual ranking of women technology leaders in the Washington, D.C. metro. Winners of this recognition were nominated by their peers and selected for their performance as a tech leader and contributions to the D.C. technology community.
“It is a great honor to be named to this list of rising stars and established leaders in the Washington D.C. technology arena,” said Shereen Mahoney, partner at Wipfli. “Being named to this list is both exciting and humbling, and I hope that I can serve as an inspiration to girls and women in the accounting and STEM communities.”
Those named to the list were celebrated at an October event on October 17 in Crystal City, Virginia, and profiled on DCA Live's blog, in which they briefly discussed their personal and professional lives and shared their experiences as tech leaders in Washington D.C.
