Wipfli LLP expands senior living consulting group | Gregg Calvert joins the firm as a consulting manager

Wipfli LLP (Wipfli) announced today it has expanded its senior living consulting group with the recent addition of Gregg Calvert. With over 17 years of executive management and operational success in the senior living industry, Calvert will be a consulting manager in charge of providing services related to senior living operations and leadership. In his position, Calvert will be responsible for providing analysis and consulting on a variety of senior living issues, including strategic planning, operational and market assessments, leadership development and training, and regulatory compliance.

The addition of Gregg Calvert to our team of seasoned professionals further strengthens our ability to help senior living providers succeed in this difficult industry,” said Kim Heller, Wipfli partner-in-charge of the senior living consulting group.
Prior to joining Wipfli LLP, Calvert provided executive leadership in both finance and operations to health systems and long-term care organizations. As Director of Finance for a regional medical center, he developed, managed and monitored operating and capital budgets for a $40 million facility expansion, a $25 million surgical center, and an $8 million cancer center; in addition, he coordinated and implemented a $5 million reduction in annual operating expenses. As Vice President of a Pacific Northwest health care organization, Calvert supervised the operations of 15 skilled nursing facilities and six assisted living facilities, surpassing operational goals and benchmarks with industry-leading performance. In addition, he has published a NAB-approved nursing facility administrator in training program, which is being utilized in 11 states and several universities across the country.
Calvert is member of the Idaho Health Care Association, the Oregon Health Care Association, and the Washington Health Care Association. He holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Idaho and a bachelor of arts degree in health service administration from Eastern Washington University.
