PCI Compliance Seminar

NO CHARGE FOR CHAMBER MEMBERS
Wednesday, June 23
8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Chamber Office, WEAU 13 News Conference Room

If your business accepts credit cards today as part of everyday business, make sure you still can in July. That’s when the new Credit CARD Act of 2009 and Payment Card Industry (PCI)’s Data Security Standard DSS (PCI-DSS) 6.6 requirements go into effect. As a credit card merchant, it is your responsibility to know about PCI compliance. This set of requirements is a worldwide information security standard designed to ensure all companies – big and small – that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. If your customers’ credit card information is breached, your business could be held financially liable. Don’t assume your credit card software or processing company has this covered on your behalf. Be sure you’re “in the know” by attending this seminar offered as a special benefit for our Chamber members. You’ll find out everything you need to know that you are in compliance with this new law.
