Wipfli LLP (Wipfli) announced today that tax expert Shea Reese
has joined the firm’s state and local tax practice as a senior consultant. Reese will be based in the firm’s Milwaukee office.
“We are thrilled to have a professional with the experience of Shea Reese joining our state and local tax practice,” stated Craig Cookle, partner-in-charge of the firm’s sales and use tax practice. “His extensive experience that includes a position with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue as an income, sales, and excise tax field auditor and his vast technical knowledge enable him to provide excellent advice to businesses as they navigate the ever-changing tax laws.”

Prior to working for Wipfli and the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, Reese worked for a regional CPA firm where he consulted with small to large companies in a variety of industries regarding maximizing tax compliance, limiting potential tax exposure, and identifying tax overpayment opportunities.
