Mark Faanes, CPA

Chief Financial Officer and Partner in Charge, Western Region

Mark is partner in charge of our Eau Claire office, as well as the six Wipfli offices in western Wisconsin. He has also previously served on the Firm's Quality Assurance Committee.

Mark Faanes believes that Wipfli’s mission is to serve as our clients’ most trusted  business advisor and that is truly the cornerstone of the firm’s business. It’s how we work best and what works best for our clients.

Mark has specialized in large multistate organizations, but also has a great deal of experience working with smaller businesses in a very diverse array of industries.

In his free time Mark enjoys activates with his three sons including fishing, hunting and coaching their sports teams.   

Professional Organizations and Activities
Mark is active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), having served as the WICPA Northwest Chapter President and on a number of WICPA committees.  He also gives back to his profession through his involvement in the AICPA's Peer Review Program. Mark is also active in his community through involvement in a number of civic groups and organizations.
