Nicholas Smith has over a decade of proven leadership experience with Wipfli's national health care consulting practice. In this role, he has the opportunity to serve a broad array of health care organizations including health systems, integrated delivery systems, county and district hospitals, critical access hospitals, physician specialty groups, behavioral health centers, and health care networks. Nicholas leads consulting engagements with energy, enthusiasm, and an analytical problem-solving approach to effectively respond to the facility, operational, and strategic challenges facing his clients.
Katie Jo Raebel, CPA
Katie Jo Raebel has more than 19 years of experience in audit and accounting services, focused exclusively on health care industry clients. She specializes in assisting freestanding and provider-based clinics to navigate through the rural health clinic (RHC) certification process and is a proven thought leader with vast experience in the RHC arena. Katie Jo helps to calculate RHCs’ Medicare and Medicaid rates, provides education regarding changes in billing because of certification, and consults on all areas specific to RHCs.
Paul M. Traczek, CPA
Paul Traczek is a certified public accountant who provides high-quality service to health care organizations including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, foundations, and other health-related, not-for-profit organizations. Paul’s primary focus is planning, conducting, and overseeing financial statement audits of health care organizations.
