Ryan Lindsay and Brad Cook to lead strategic roles as Northwest U.S. Geographic Market Leader and Geographic Tax Service Line Leader

Wipfli LLP (Wipfli), a top 20 accounting and consulting firm, announced that Ryan Lindsay and Brad Cook have been appointed to Northwest U.S. Market Leader and Northwest U.S. Market Tax Service Line Leader respectively, effective January 2019.

In his new role, Lindsay will continue to expand Wipfli’s presence in the Northwest and support the firm’s clients through a variety of integrated financial services. He will oversee a team of nearly 275 professionals who provide audit, tax and consulting services to businesses and individuals across Montana, Idaho, Utah and Washington.

“With more than 17 years of dedicated focus on the Northwest market and a deep understanding of Wipfli core values, Ryan is well-positioned to be leading the firm out of Montana. In recent years, Ryan has held several leadership roles within the firm and led many audit engagements for financial institutions across Montana – experiences that will serve him very well in his new role,” said Dick Shull, Wipfli partner and past Northwest U.S. Market leader.

“I am truly honored to lead Wipfli’s team in the Northwest market, which has seen a tremendous amount of growth - both organic as well as through mergers and acquisitions” said Lindsay. “In my new role, I will be collaborating closely with Brad Cook, a Montana native with deep knowledge of the regional agriculture business. As the new Northwest U.S. Market Tax Lead, Brad and I will continue to help our clients succeed and grow.”

Lindsay began his public accounting career in 2002 with Galusha, Higgins and Galusha, a Montana-based firm that combined with Wipfli in 2015. During his career, he has focused on the audit side of the practice and has been the Northwest U.S. Market’s Financial Institutions Leader. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and business administration with a concentration in finance from Carroll College in Helena, Montana.

Cook joined Wipfli in 2015 through its merger with Galusha, Higgins and Galusha as well, and will continue to serve in his role as the firm’s Agriculture industry practice leader as he assumes this regional tax leadership role. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from University of Montana.
