Wipfli, a national accounting and consulting firm, has been named #4 on the list of Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ by Construction Executive magazine. Last year, the firm ranked #5 on the list, which was the award’s inaugural year.
Brian Bohman, construction practice leader at Wipfli, said, “We’re proud to see Wipfli move up a spot in just the second year of this award. It’s a reflection of our firm’s commitment to serving our construction clients with critical solutions that meet the whole of their needs and position them for growth and continued success.”
Wipfli has continued to work closely with construction businesses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, helping them navigate its effects on their people and finances, as well as helping them respond, recover and revitalize. Bohman was quoted several times in Construction Executive’s July/August issue about the pandemic’s impact on the construction industry and what businesses can do to lessen that impact — from PPP loans to employee retention to reviewing contracts. Reed Sellers, partner at Wipfli, was also quoted.
The issue also presents the full list of the top 50 firms. To determine its list of honorees, Construction Executive collected a variety of data — including 2019 construction practice revenues, the percentage of the accounting firm’s total revenues from the construction practice, and the number of construction clients — and then used an algorithm to determine the final ranking.
Wipfli’s construction and real estate practice is the trusted business advisor of over 6,000 construction companies across the U.S. The firm provides a wide variety of tax, accounting, technology and consulting solutions to help them meet the construction industry’s unique challenges.
