Christopher Nolan is a master consultant in Wipfli’s risk advisory practice, specializing in technology risk management, information technology audits, cybersecurity and IT controls assessments for financial institutions and financial services organizations. Based in Maine, he works with community banks, regional banks and credit unions to strengthen governance, manage technology and cybersecurity risk, enhance internal controls and support regulatory readiness.

With more than 30 years of experience in information technology, information security, risk management and audit, Chris brings a practical, business-focused approach to each engagement. He helps clients translate complex technology and cybersecurity challenges into actionable solutions that align with business objectives, regulatory expectations and organizational risk tolerance.

Chris leads and supports IT audits, IT controls reviews, technology risk assessments, cybersecurity maturity evaluations, FDICIA-related engagements, internal audit services, business continuity and resilience assessments, and consulting projects focused on improving risk management and operational effectiveness.
