Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Wipfli, one of the leading CPA and consulting firms in the United States, has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. Produced by the same team that compiles the 26-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 69,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.

“We are pleased that Wipfli was named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota for the eighth consecutive year and thank our associates for supporting the outstanding culture in our firm,” said Rick Dreher, Wipfli’s managing partner. “Creating a culture of collaboration, caring and associate engagement is important to the firm, as well as providing a workplace where our associates can continue to develop and grow throughout their careers. This honor demonstrates that we are accomplishing our goal of developing an exemplary culture for our associates.”

Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

Wipfli is one of the top 25 CPA and consulting firms in the nation with over 1,800 employees based in 41 locations across the United States. The firm’s Minnesota locations include offices in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Duluth.

The results of the Star Tribune Top Workplaces are based on survey information collected by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company needed more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 2,000 companies were invited to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.
