How do we work with you?
Our executive coaches provide one-on-one, personal coaching that delivers insight, guidance and support for your leaders. Once you select a coach from our team, we’ll build a trusting relationship with a clear action plan:
- Focus: We develop familiarity with the organization and home in on the coachee’s strengths, interests and goals. We begin to build a relationship based on mutual trust and respect.
- Discovery: We use data-driven assessments for objective feedback and interview work teams and colleagues so we can determine what’s in the way of greater success.
- Clarity: We work together to set goals and create an actionable plan, providing accountability and support throughout the process.
- Behavior change/confidence: With greater awareness of themselves and their impact on others, the coachee executes the plan, receiving support from the coach and others.
- High performance: Working with a coach can increase self-sufficiency in identifying and solving issues, as well as boost productivity and quality of work. In addition, coachees are often better prepared for increased responsibility or future roles, and they often cite improved relations with coworkers.

Tom Cox is a principal with 35 years of experience including C-level leadership. Tom has a proven track record of driving results. His career spans multiple industries (management consulting, hospitality, financial services, real estate and manufacturing) and functional disciplines (general management, sales, finance & accounting, purchasing and supply chain). His career is highlighted by his 8 years with General Electric and over 12 years with Marriott International. Clients benefit from Tom’s demonstrated ability to develop leaders and teams, cascading plans and accountability through an organization.
Tony Smith, CPC, PI, EQ-I
Tony Smith is a certified executive coach, team facilitator and expert in the Predictive Index assessment toolkit, using skills honed through his role as a leader in the telecommunications, advertising and consulting markets over the past 30 years. At Wipfli, Tony works closely with CEOs and senior leaders as a personal leadership coach. He also helps organizations develop high-functioning teams and build cultures that value leadership as the primary transformer of business results.
